Western Legal Transplants and India
Résumé
Alan Watson's theory on legal transplants can be used to examine some particularities of Indian legal history. These legal transplants have also played the role of "irritants" _according to Teubner's terminology _ by provoking unforeseen changes in the Indian legal scene.
La théorie des transplants juridiques d'Alan Watson peut être utilisée pour examiner certaines particularités de l'histoire juridique indienne.
